I graduated from high school in England, took classes in Paris, France at the Alliance Francaise, then graduated from Houston Community College, Houston, Texas with an Associate's Degree in Applied Science when my children were in primary school (I did 3 people's homework every night!)

I returned to Houston Community College to take classes in Creative Writing over a 2 year period.  I also attended workshops, seminars and conferences to hone my craft, after which I became a coordinator of local and national events for Romance Writers of America.  I was also a member of Mystery Writers while living in Houston, Phoenix and Boston.  I'm currently a member of Alameda Writers Group (based in Glendale) and Sisters In Crime.  I host and moderate the Fiction SIG (Special Interest Group) of  AWG.
